At Amalgamated Security Services USA, LLC, staff training is a continuous and essential part of our operations. Our philosophy is simple: every employee must be thoroughly trained for their specific role before being assigned to any post.

All security personnel complete a three-week pre-employment training program designed to prepare them for general security duties. Throughout this program, employees undergo continuous evaluation and testing to ensure they fully understand and apply the concepts taught. Only candidates who successfully complete and pass all training requirements are accepted for employment.

When a client’s assignment requires specialized or site-specific training, additional instruction is provided to ensure our officers meet all operational and security requirements.

Given the sensitive nature of security services, confidentiality, professionalism, and courtesy are core principles at Amalgamated Security Services USA, LLC. These standards are emphasized throughout training and reinforced continuously to ensure every officer represents our clients with the highest level of integrity and respect.

To complete the training all prospective employees must pass the written examination at the end of the training. It is only after an individual has completed the training that they are accepted to work at Amalgamated Security Services USA, LLC.
Training does not end in the classroom and all personnel are given detailed on-site briefings by a supervisor who is familiar with the assignment.

In addition to the basic introductory security training, staff are exposed to a wide range of training programs. ASSL’s training unit is licensed by the U.S. National Safety Council to provide training to the public in First Aid and Defensive Driving. We also have trained instructors for conducting certification training for International Ship & Port Security code, under the standards set by the International Maritime Organization.
